Metrolinx intends to build the Ontario Line subway between Exhibition Place / Ontario Place and the area near the Ontario Science Centre, through downtown Toronto.
This weekend, Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, Metrolinx contractors continue working on the Ontario-Line project near GO Transit’s 09 Lakeshore East tracks in Riverside and Leslieville. They can only complete this work when GO trains aren’t operating along certain tracks.
Saturday and Sunday, trains operate about once an hour, dropping off or picking up passengers in all stations between Durham College Oshawa GO Station and Union Station.
- Westbound trains start in Oshawa at 34 minutes after the hour from 7:34 a.m. to 10:34 p.m.
- One final train starts in Oshawa GO at 11:39 p.m. Saturday, April 8 only.
- Eastbound trains start in Union Station at 14 minutes after the hour from 9:14 a.m. until 12:14 a.m.
- One final train starts in Union Station at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, April 9 only.
If you’re continuing beyond Union Station along the 01 Lakeshore West line, remember that some trains end in Union and you’ll have to wait for the next train. Listen to on-board announcements and check the departure boards if you need to transfer to another train.
Regular train service resumes Monday, April 11.
