It designates short-turn buses operating southbound between Brooklin and Whitby early Monday-to-Friday mornings and northbound between Whitby and Brooklin during afternoon rush hours as serving the 302B branch.
Southbound buses along the 302B branch end their trips on Thickson Road North at Blackfriars Avenue. Northbound buses start their trips on Thickson North beyond Winchester Road East.
