This Sunday, March 12, GO Transit trains operate about once an hour along the 01 Lakeshore West line between West Harbour GO Station and Union Station.

Eastbound:

• All trains that usually leave West Harbour at either 13 or 23 minutes past the hour operate with their regular schedule.
• GO is cancelling all trains that usually leave Aldershot GO Station at 4 or 54 minutes past the hour.

Westbound:

• The trains that usually leave Union Station at 44 minutes past the hour, instead, leave five minutes later at 39 minutes past the hour.
• GO is cancelling all trains that normally leave Union at 14 or 15 minutes past the hour and end their trips in Aldershot.
• GO is holding most westbound buses along routes 12, 15 and 18 to allow you to connect from the trains. (The schedule doesn’t reflect these minor adjustments.)

Niagara Falls service

GO is adjusting the schedule for trains between Union Station and Niagara Falls GO Station:

• Toronto-bound trains leave Niagara Falls at 1:25 p.m. and 8:25 p.m.

• As usually, these trains also stop in Aldershot, Burlington, Oakville, Port Credit and Exhibition GO stations, before reaching Union Station.

• Niagara-bound trains leave Union at 10:17 a.m. and 5:17 p.m.

• As usually, these trains also stop in Exhibition, Port Credit, Oakville, Burlington and Aldershot GO stations, before reaching Niagara Falls.

Trains continue to skip St. Catharines GO / VIA Station “until Spring 2023”.

GO is decreasing service along the line so that crews can repair and maintain the tracks.

Travelling between Lakeshore East and West lines

You may need to switch trains at Union Station and wait times vary from less than five minutes to 30 minutes.

Westbound:

• Trains leaving Durham College Oshawa GO Station at 34 minutes after the hour don’t continue westward beyond Union Station. You have to leave the train and board another train to continue further westbound. The layover will be less than five minutes and the train proceeding further west will be easily accessible. Listen to on-board train announcements or quickly check the departure screen on the platform.
• Trains leaving Oshawa at 4 minutes after the hour continue westbound beyond Union Station, however, the trains hold at Union Station for about 30 minutes before continuing further westward.

Eastbound:

• All trains leaving West Harbour GO Station at 25 minutes after the hour continue further eastward beyond Union Station, however, the trains hold at Union Station for about 28 minutes before continuing further eastward.

Buses

12 Niagara Falls / Burlington

• Connection time from the westbound GO trains to the westbound buses in Burlington GO Station is eight minutes (two minutes less than usual). Bus drivers look for passengers coming from the trains and hold the buses, when possible.
• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains is mostly 42 minutes (32 minutes more than usual).
• Eastbound exceptions:

• Arriving in Burlington at 7:21 a.m. - a 23-minute connection time (two minutes more than usual) to the eastbound train.
• Arriving in Burlington at 10:31 p.m. - a 13-minute connection (two minutes more than usual) to the eastbound train.
• Arriving in Burlington at 10:51 p.m. - a 39-minute connection (29 minutes more than usual) to the eastbound route 18J bus (train replacement).
• Connection time for the bus arriving in Burlington at 11:21 p.m. does not change.

15 Brantford / Burlington

• Connection time from the westbound GO trains to the westbound buses at Aldershot GO Station is eight minutes (two minutes more than usual). Bus drivers look for passengers coming from the trains and hold the buses, when possible.
• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains is 17 minutes (two minutes more than usual).
• Note: the connection time for the last eastbound bus, arriving in Aldershot GO Station at 10:44 p.m. to the eastbound route 18J rail replacement bus trip is 46 minutes.

16 Hamilton / Toronto express

• Buses operate only between Hamilton GO Centre and Aldershot GO Station due to construction in downtown Toronto.

18 Lakeshore West

• Connection time from the westbound GO trains to the westbound buses at Aldershot GO Station is 34 minutes (29 minutes more than usual).
• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains is 19 minutes (nine minutes more than usual).

21 Milton / Mississauga / Toronto

21A branch

• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains at Oakville GO Station is 15 minutes (five minutes more than usual).
• Connection time from the westbound buses to the westbound trains is nine minutes (four minutes more than usual).

21B branch

• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains at Clarkson GO Station is nine or 39 minutes (four or 32 minutes more than usual).
• Connection time from the westbound buses to the westbound trains is 17 or 47 minutes (seven or 37 minutes more than usual).

21C branch

• Connection time from the eastbound buses to the eastbound trains at Port Credit GO Station is nine or 39 minutes (four or 32 minutes more than usual).
• Connection time from the westbound buses to the westbound trains is 17 or 47 minutes (seven or 37 minutes more than usual).
