Anglesey Boulevard Etobicoke construction: TTC detours, April 20, 21



From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21, the City of Toronto is closing parts of

  • Anglesey Boulevard between The Kingsway and Royal York Road

to accommodate a project to rebuild the roadway.

The City is closing eastbound lanes from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. April 20 and westbound lanes from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. April 21. Traffic may flow in the opposite direction only, during each traffic-lane closure.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the traffic lanes are closed:

  • 48 Rathburn.

The TTC detours buses along two different paths during the construction:


From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, April 20, eastbound buses operate along their regular path to Anglesey Boulevard and The Kingsway, then detour:

southeastward along The Kingsway; and then
eastward along Ashley Road to Royal York Road,
resuming their regular path southward along Royal York.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Anglesey Boulevard at Royal York Road and
  • on Royal York Road at Ashley Road.

Westbound buses operate along their regular path.


From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 21, eatbound buses operate along their regular path.

Westbound buses operate along their regular path to Royal York and Ashley roads, then detour:

westward along Ashley; and then
northwestward along The Kingsway to Anglesey Boulevard,
resuming their regular path westward along Anglesey.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Royal York Road beyond Ashley Park Road [north] and
  • on Anglesey Boulevard beyond Royal York Road and at The Kingsway.
