From 10 p.m. Saturday, May 6 until 10 a.m. Sunday, May 7, the City Toronto is closing
- Kennedy Road at Highway 401
to accommodate Ontario Ministry of Transportation contractors who are removing part of the highway’s bridge deck over Kennedy.
The TTC is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:

From 10 p.m. Saturday, May 6 until 10 a.m. Sunday, May 7, southbound buses operate along their regular path to Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue East, then detour:
eastward along Sheppard East;
southward along Midland Avenue; and then
westward along Progress Avenue to Kennedy,
resuming their regular path southward along Kennedy.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Kennedy Road at Jade Street, beyond Pently Crescent, across from Village Green Square and beyond Antrim Crescent.
Instead, southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Sheppard Avenue East
- on Midland Avenue beyond Weybright Crescent, at Emblem Court and beside #2220 Midland and at Progress Avenue and
- on Progress Avenue beside #80 Progress and beyond William Kitchen Road.
Northbound buses reverse the southbound detour routing.
Northbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Kennedy Road across from Antrim Crescent, beyond Village Green Square and at Cowdray Crescent, Collingwood Street and Sheppard Avenue East.
Instead, northbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Progress Avenue beyond Kennedy Road, across from William Kitchen Road and beside #77 Progress,
- on Midland Avenue beside #2265 Midland, at Goodland Gate and Salome Drive
