Starting Monday, July 24, the City of Brampton is closing
- Goreway Drive between Castlemore Road and Cottrelle Boulevard
to accommodate a project to widen and rebuild the roadway.
Brampton Transit is detouring buses along these routes, while the street is closed:
Construction on Goreway Drive and the resulting BT detours continue “for approximately 4-months”, meaning as late as until November 30.

From Monday, July 24 until Thursday, November 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular path to Castlemore Road and Goreway Drive, then detour:
eastward along Castlemore;
southward along Valleycreek Drive; and then
westward along Cottrelle Boulevard to Goreway,
resuming their regular path southward along Goreway.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Goreway Drive beyond Castlemore Road and across from Cottrelle Boulevard.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Castlemore Road beyond Goreway Drive and
- on Cottrelle Boulevard beyond Valleycreek Boulevard.
Westbound buses reverse the eastbound detour routing.
Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Goreway Drive beyond Cottrelle Boulevard and at Castlemore Road.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Cottrelle Boulevard beyond Goreway Drive and
- on Castlemore Road across from Valleycreek Drive and at Goreway Drive.

From Monday, July 24 until Thursday, November 30, eastbound buses operate along their regular path to Castlemore Road and Goreway Drive, then detour:
eastward along Castlemore; and then
southward along Valleycreek Drive to Cottrelle Boulevard,
resuming their regular path westward along Cottrelle.Southbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Goreway Drive beyond Castlemore Road and across from Cottrelle Boulevard and
- on Cottrelle Boulevard across from Valleycreek Boulevard and at Goreway Drive.
Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops

- on Cottrelle Boulevard beyond Valleycreek Boulevard.
