Starting Monday, July 24, the City of Brampton starts a project to resurface:
- Vodden Street East between east of Centre Street North and east of Archdekin Drive;
- Vodden Street East between Lakeridge Drive / Lansdowne Drive and Howden Boulevard; and
- Howden Boulevard between Vodden Street East and Dixie Road.
Passengers aboard Brampton Transit buses along these routes can expect delays during the construction project:
- 9 Vodden; and
- 17 Howden.
During the project, the work zone may block bus access to these stops:
- eastbound on Howden
- at Heath Drive and Dixie Road - 9 Vodden, 17 Howden.
- westbound on Howden
- at Leander Street - 9 Vodden, 17 Howden.
- across from Vodden Street East - 17 Howden.
- eastbound on Vodden East
- at Post Road and Cumberland Drive, beyond Kennedy Road North, beside #399 Vodden East, at Archdekin Drive, beyond Robwill Court, at Rutherford Road North and at Hansen Road - 9 Vodden.
- beyond Lansdowne Drive and at Laurelcrest Street and Howden Boulevard - 9 Vodden, 17 Howden.
- westbound on Vodden
- beyond Howden Boulevard and at Leeward Drive - 9 Vodden, 17 Howden.
- beside #399 Vodden East, beyond Archdekin Drive, at Robwill Court, Rutherford Road North and Hansen Street, beyond Kennedy Road North and at Garfield Crescent [east] and Centre Street North - 9 Vodden.
Construction on Howden Boulevard and Vodden Street East and the resulting Brampton Transit service changes continue “for approximately 4-months”, meaning as late as until November 30.
