Airport Road / Beverley Street Malton construction: MiWay detour, starting August 12



The Region of Peel has started a project to upgrade sewers, including relining the sewer

  • on Airport Road at Beverley Street

and other Malton-area streets in the City of Mississauga.

The work zone may block access to through westbound traffic proceeding across Airport Road between Victory CrescentBeverley and .

Saturdays only, starting Saturday, August 12, MiWay is detouring buses along this route during the construction:

  • 30 Rexdale.

(MiWay hasn’t explained why the detour is only in effect Saturdays.)

Southbound buses along this route skip their regular stop on Airport Road at Beverley Street every day:

  • 7 Airport.

Southbound route 7 passengers can exit or board buses at the previous stop on Airport across from Morning Star Drive or the next stop on Airport at Ripon Street.

Construction on Airport Road at Beverley Street continues until October 7.


30 Rexdale

Saturdays only, from Saturday, August 12 until Saturday, October 7, eastbound bues operate along their regular path to Victory Crescent and Airport Rod, then detour:

southbound along Airport; and then
westward along Ripon Street to Scarboro Street,
resuming their regular path southward along Scarboro.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Beverley Street beyond Airport Road and
  • on York Street at Scarboro Street.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at a temporary stop

  • on Airport Road at Ripon Street.
