Oakville Transit revises service, September 5



Update — Tuesday, September 12, 7:37 p.m.: Oakville Transit is suspending its 121 **Southeast Industrial service “due to low ridership.”


Oakville Transit is revising its services, starting Tuesday, September 5.

It’s adjusting the Monday-to-Friday schedules for buses along this route “to better reflect the actual running time:”

  • 5 Dundas.

It’s resuming service along these high-school special routes:

  • 71 White Oaks;
  • 80 Holy Trinity;
  • 81N Abbey Park / Loyola North;
  • 81S Abbey Park / Loyola South;
  • 82 Loyola North;
  • 83 T.A. Blakelock; and
  • 84 **Oakville Trafalgar.

It’s also operating buses on extra trips along this route for passengers travelling to and from White Oaks Secondary School:

  • 19 River Oaks.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, OT has suspended service along the 190 River Oaks express route and its Late Night and seniors special services.

(Updated — Tuesday, September 12, 7:37 p.m.) It continues to replace conventional transit service with on-demand service Mondays to Fridays from 7 until 9 a.m. and 4 until 6 p.m. in the area that buses along the 121 **Southeast Industrial route usually operate.
