From 11 p.m. Monday, April 22 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 and continuing overnight nightly, TTC crews are replacing streetcars with shuttle buses north of Queens Quay West along these routes:
In a report to the Toronto Transit Commission (the TTC Board), TTC staff identified inspection and maintenance of the streetcar tunnel at Spadina Station as a reason for this detour.
Nearby residents can expect noise from TTC overhead vehicles when they’re backing up the ramp that leads to the Spadina Station streetcar tunnel.
Spadina streetcar-tunnel inspection and the resulting TTC service changes continue until April 25 (4 a.m.).

From 11 p.m. Monday, April 22 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, April 23 and continuing overnight nightly until 4 a.m. Thursday, April 25, eastbound cars start their trips in Spadina / Queens Quay Loop, then proceed:
along their regular route southward along Lower Spadina Avenue.
Southbound cars skip their regular stops
- in Spadina Station streetcar terminal,
- on Spadina Avenue beyond Sussex Avenue and Harbord Street, at Willcocks Street, beyond College Street, at Nassau Street, beyond Dundas Street West, across from Sullivan Street, beyond Queen Street West and at King and Front Streets West and
- on Lower Spadina Avenue at Fort York Boulevard.
Shuttle buses replace the cars north of Queens Quay West.
Westbound cars operate along their regular route to Queens Quay West at Spadina / Queens Quay Loop, then detour:
northward into Spadina / Queens Quay Loop,

- on Lower Spadina Avenue beyond Queens Quay West and at Bremner Boulevard,

- in Spadina Station streetcar terminal.
Shuttle buses replace the cars north of Queens Quay West. Eastbound streetcar passengers can transfer to northbound buses on Lower Spadina Avenue beyond Queens Quay West.

Buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops beside the curb on Spadina or Lower Spadina Avenues, instead of the centre-road “island” streetcar stops.
Southbound buses start their trips in Spadina Station bus terminal, then proceed:
southward along Spadina Road, Spadina Avenue, Spadina Crescent, Spadina Avenue and Lower Spadina Avenue;
westward along Queens Quay West; and then
northward along Bathurst Street to Lake Shore Boulevard West,
ending their trips.Southbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops
- in Spadina Station bus terminal and

southward along Dan Leckie Way;
eastward along Queens Quay West;
northward along Lower Spadina and Spadina Avenues, Spadina Crescent, Spadina Avenue and Spadina Road; and then
eastward into Spadina Station bus terminal,
