Bloor Street West construction: TTC detour, starting July 23



Starting Monday, July 22, the City of Toronto is closing

  • Bloor Street West, westbound lanes, between Huron Street and Bedford Road

to accommodate contractors who are completing a project to rebuild the Bloor West roadway.

The TTC is detouring buses along this route, while the street is closed:

  • 300 Bloor / Danforth overnight.

This phase of construction on Bloor Street West and the resulting TTC detour continue until August 9.

Roadway and sidewalk construction on this part of Bloor Street West, affecting TTC service, started Monday, July 17, 2023. Construction ended for the year in December and resumed this year Tuesday, April 23.


300A / 300B Bloor - Danforth overnight

Eastbound buses operate along their regular path.

From Tuesday, July 23 until Monday, August 9, westbound buses operate along their regular path to Bloor Street West at Queen’s Park / Avenue Road, then detour:

southward along Queen’s Park and Queen’s Park Crescent West;
westward along Hoskin Avenue and Harbord Street; and then
northward along Spadina Avenue to Bloor West,
resuming their regular path westward along Bloor.

Westbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Bloor Street West at Avenue Road, beyond Bedford Road and at St. George Street and Spadina Road.
