Metrolinx is building the Ontario Line subway between Exhibition Place / Ontario Place and the area near the Ontario Science Centre, through downtown Toronto.
Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 283, TTC trains along Line 2 Bloor - Danforth won’t stop at Pape Station due to Ontario Line construction. Metrolinx contractors are working near the station platform those days. The construction doesn’t affect bus service at Pape Station (at least not any more than it already has) and the station remains open to passengers.
If you’re walking, biking or riding a bus to Pape Station and you want to travel along Line 2, here’s what you need do when you get to the station:
- Board a shuttle bus at Pape Avenue and Danforth Avenue. Buses operate eastbound to Coxwell Station and westbound to Broadview Station.
- Donlands and Greenwood stations are not accessible. If you need an accessible station, board the shuttle bus to Broadview or Coxwell station and board the subway there.
If you need to travel to Pape Station from another location on Line 2, here’s what you need to do:
- If you’re travelling eastbound along Line 2 towards Pape Station, exit at Broadview or Chester stations and walk about five minutes eastward to Pape Station. Alternatively, shuttle buses operate both ways along Danforth Avenue between Broadview and Coxwell stations.
- If you’re travelling westbound towards Pape Station, exit at Donlands Station and walk about five minutes westward to Pape Station. Alternatively, shuttle buses will operate both ways aong Danforth Avenue between Broadview and Coxwell stations. If you require an accessible connection, exit at Coxwell Station and board a shuttle bus on Danforth Avenue to travel to Pape Station.
