Yonge Street construction: TTC detour, August 10

According to a news release, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, August 10, the TTC is detouring buses along this route, “due to construction at Yonge [Street]:”

The TTC has not identified the nature of the construction that requires it to detour buses. However, City of Toronto contractors continue to work on a project (.pdf) to replace the sewers under Yonge between Wellington Street and Queens Quay. Also, Enbridge is reinforcing the gas main under Yonge between Front Street and The Esplanade.
