Lakeshore Road East Lakeview construction: MiWay revising detour, starting November 13

Since Monday, November 4, the City of Mississauga has closed

  • Lakeshore Road East between East Avenue and Lakefront Promenade

to accommodate the work zone for a project to connect water services for a new development.

Starting Wednesday, November 13, contractors are adjusting the work zone, requiring the City to close

  • Lakeshore Road East between Ogden Avenue and Hydro Road.

MiWay is revising the detour path for buses along this route:

  • 23 Lakeshore.

Buses along this route are already detouring due to another construction project:

  • 5 Dixie.

MiWay is further detouring the buses, starting November 13.

MiWay is operating a temporary shuttle-bus service along Ogden Avenue due to the other construction project. During the Lakeshore East construction, it’s also detouring those buses.
