Yonge Boulevard construction: TTC detour, starting July 21



The TTC is advising passengers that, starting 7 a.m. Monday, July 21, “due to road work”

  • on Yonge Boulevard between Ridley Boulevard [south] and Yonge Street,

it’s detouring buses along this route:

  • 97B Yonge via Yonge Boulevard.

Construction on Yonge Boulevard and the resulting TTC detour continue until August 4 (7 a.m.).


97B Yonge via Yonge Boulevard

From 7 a.m. Monday, July 21 until 7 a.m. Monday, August 4, southbound buses operate along their regular path to Yonge Boulevard and Ridley Boulevard [south] / Brooke Avenue, then proceed:

southward along Ridley and Jedburgh Road; and then
eastward along Melrose Avenue to Yonge Street,
resuming their regular path southward along Yonge Street.

Southbound buses skip their regular stops

  • on Yonge Street beyond Yonge Boulevard and at Melrose Avenue.

Northbound buses operate along their regular path.
