From 11 p.m. Wednesday, August 13 until 4 a.m. Thursday, August 14, the City of Toronto is closing
- Queen Street East, centre lanes, from west of Davies Avenue to east of River Street
to accommodate TTC crews who are repairing the overhead streetcar wiring on the bridge carrying Queen East over the Don River, Don Valley Parkway and Bayview Avenue.
The transit agency is detouring streetcars along these routes, while the traffic lanes are closed:
- 301 Queen overnight;
- 303 Kingston Rd overnight;
- 304 King overnight;
- 501 Queen;
- 503 Kingston Rd; and
- 504 King.

From 11 p.m. Wednesday, August 13 until 4 a.m. Thursday, August 14, westbound cars operate along their regular path to Broadview Avenue and Dundas Street East, then further detour:
westward along Dundas East; and then
southward along Church Street to Queen Street East,
resuming their long-term detour path southward along Church.Westbound cars skip their regular stops

304D / 504D King shuttle buses
Since Sunday, May 11, the TTC has been operating buses along these routes to replace 303 Kingston Rd overnight, 304 King overnight, 503 Kingston Rd and 504 King streetcar service due to ongoing construction at King Street East and Church Street.
From 11 p.m. Wednesday, August 13 until 4 a.m. Thursday, August 14, the transit agency extends the path for buses along the route during the streetcar infrastructure work on Queen Street East.
Westbound buses start their trips in Broadview Station terminal, then proceed:
southward along Broadview Avenue to Jack Layton Way,
resuming their regular path southward along Broadview.Westbound buses skip their regular stop
- on Gerrard Street East at St. Matthews Road.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
