Bramalea Terminal roof repairs: Brampton Transit detours, August 20, 21



Starting 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, the City of Brampton is closing the north portion of the platform of the Bramalea Transit Terminal to buss, to accommodate contractors who are repairing the roof. The terminal building and washrooms remain open to passengers.

Brampton Transit is detouring buses along these routes, while crews proceed with the project.

  • 1 Queen; and
  • 501 Züm Queen.

BT is setting up two temporary bus stops on the street, while part of the terminal is closed.

Westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary bus stop #1 on the west side of Central Park Drive south of the terminal.

Eastbound buses serve passengers at temporary stop #2 on the west side of Central Park Drive further south of the terminal.

GO Transit buses continue to operate along their regular paths.

Construction in Bramalea Terminal and the resulting Brampton Transit detours continue until August 21.

From 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20 until Thursday, August 21, eastbound buses operate along their regular path to Team Canada Drive at the west bus access for Bramalea Terminal, then proceed:

northward along Team Canada;
eastward along Peel Centre Drive; and then
southward along Central Park Drive to the east bus access for the terminal,
resuming their regular path southward along Central Park.

Eastbound buses skip their regular stop

  • in Bramalea Terminal.

Instead, eastbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stop #2 on Central Park Drive south of the terminal.

Westbound buses operate along their regular path to Team Canada Drive at the west bus access for Bramalea Terminal, then proceed:

northward along Team Canada;
eastward along Peel Centre Drive; and then
southward along Central Park Drive to the east bus access for the terminal,
resuming their regular path southward along Central Park.
