Metrolinx is upgrading the station building and accessible washrooms at Milton GO Station. Temporary washrooms are available on the west side of the building close to the accessible parking area.
Until August 31, the transit agency is resurfacing an area on the west side of the parking lot. About 240 spaces on the west side of the parking lot are temporarily unavailable.
Sunday, August 24, Metrolinx contractors start resurfacing the bus loop at the station.
GO Transit is relocating stops for buses along these routes:
- 21 Milton / Mississauga / Toronto;
- 22 Milton / Oakville; and
- 27 Milton / Mississauga / North York.
Starting 8 a.m. Sunday, GO is setting up two temporary stops:
- Eastbound buses along routes 21 and 27 pick up passengers from the temporary stop on Drew Centre just north of the loop entrance.
- Southbound buses along route 22 serve passengers from the temporary stop on Drew Centre beside the Milton Transit stop.
Buses along all three routes drop off passengers across the street on the southeast corner of Drew Centre.
Milton Transit is relocating stops for buses along these routes:
- 2 Main;
- 6 Scott; and
- 7 Harrison.
Passengers should use the temporary stop north of #2019 on Drew Centre or the bus stops south of the terminal entrance.
Construction in Milton GO Station and the GO and Milton Transit service changes continue “for four weeks”, meaning as late as until September 30.
