A sinkhole has opened
- in the intersection of Cosburn Avenue with Coxwell Avenue,
requiring the City of Toronto to close the intersection to traffic, while crews repair the damage.
The TTC is detouring buses along these routes, while the intersection is closed:

From 4 a.m. Thursday, August 28 until 7 a.m. Friday, September 5, westbound buses operate along their regular path to Cosburn and Woodbine avenues, then detour:
northward along Woodbine;
westward along O’Connor Drive; and then
southward along Donlands Avenue to Cosburn,
resuming their regular path westward along Cosburn.Westbound buses skip their regular stops
- on Cosburn Avenue at Woodmount and Roblin avenues, beyond Binswood Avenue, at Coxwell Avenue, across from Roosevelt Road and at Linsmore Crescent and Greenwood Avenue.
Instead, westbound buses drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- on Woodbine Avenue beyond Bracebridge Avenue,
