Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s annual all-night arts festival takes place this weekend and the TTC is offering festival-goers all-night subway service to help them travel to and from the various venues this weekend. And, various Runs for the Cure — supporting breast cancer research — also dominate the list of special events affecting transit services this weekend, Friday, October 3, Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5.
Events take place in Brampton, the Bronte area of Oakville, Burlington, the Don Mills area of Toronto, Hamilton, the Islington area of Toronto, Milton, the New Toronto area of Toronto, Oshawa and the central and Willowdale areas of Toronto.

With the HSR’s Ticket to Ride program, you can ride free of fare to Hamilton Stadium for as much as two hours before game time and free of fare from the stadium until the end of service.
You can also take advantage of Tiger-Cats Express shuttles. Park your car at or near one of three terminals across the City and the HSR will whisk you directly to the stadium on an express bus — and then take you back to one of the three terminals after the game. (You can also take another HSR bus to one of the three terminals — just show your game ticket to the bus operator and that’s your ticket to ride.)

The TTC is key in getting around town during the all-night arts and entertainment festival, this weekend, Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5.
In central Toronto, the City of Toronto is closing:
- Dundas Street West between Spadina Avenue and Simcoe Street.
In the New Toronto area, Humber Polytechnic is closing
- Colonel Smith Drive and other streets in its Lakeshore campus.
In Willowdale, the City is closing
- Yonge Street between Empress Avenue / Park Home Avenue and North York Boulevard.
The TTC operates subway and rapid transit trains all night along the entire length of its three subway lines. Even though the subways operate all night, the TTC is also maintaining regular service along its Blue Night Network of overnight bus and streetcar routes. However, unlike most nights, overnight transit vehicles stop to drop off or pick up passengers in rapid transit station terminals.
GO Transit is also likely detouring buses during the event, but hasn’t announced detour-routing information.

Late Saturday, October 4 and early Sunday, October 5, the TTC is operating buses along the route all night to provide overnight service to Humber Polytechnic’s Lakeshore campus art installations.
Since Humber is closing Colonel Smith Drive to traffic, the buses likely start and end their trips in New Toronto Loop on the west side of Kipling Avenue north of Lake Shore Boulevard West.
