Burlington Transit is raising fares, starting New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1.
BT says, “These small increases help [it]

- Provide reliable service and
- Support our growing transit service.”

- Adult fare with a PRESTO card increases by $0.10 cents to $2.85;
- Youth PRESTO fare increases by $0.10 cents to $2; and
- Cash and contactless debit= and credit=card tap increases by $0.25 cents to $3.75.
What isn’t changing:
- Children and seniors ride free; and
- Youth ride free after 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays and all hours weekends.
With the PRESTO Loyalty Program,
