Starting Monday, May 3, the TTC is resuming bus service through

— but only before 11 p.m. daily.

The TTC continues to detour streetcars along these routes from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m.:

Meanwhile, TTC crews continue to upgrade the overhead wiring for this section of the 306 / 506 routes.
(Updated — Friday, May 8, 4:38 p.m.) Overnight construction on College Street at Bay Street and the resulting TTC detours continue overnight nightly until May 9 until May 10 (4 a.m.).
The City of Toronto closed the intersection to all traffic Monday, March 2 to accommodate contractors who replaced sewer infrastructure and renewed streetcar tracks.
Contractors return to the area and the transit agency will further detour service after the FIFA World Cup 2026™, so the City and TTC can replace sewers on College Street between Bay and Yonge streets and renew the streetcar infrastructure on College and Carlton streets between Bay and Church streets. They expect to complete the projects in December.
