Metrolinx and its contractors continue upgrading GO Transit’s Barrie line as part of the GO Expansion Program.
Starting Monday, May 4 and continuing until Thursday, May 14, GO Transit is adjusting the schedules for trains along the 65 Barrie line after this weekend’s construction to support the GO Expansion program.
During this time, trains will operate more slowly than usually to help protect the work that contractors completed along the line and make sure that service remains safe and reliable. By temporarily adjusting the schedules, GO says, it can help ensure that [you] arrive as close as possible to your regular arrival times, minimizing the impact to your commute.
