York Region Transit is starting its summer service schedules Sunday, June 28.
During this service change, it’s cancelling extra service to and from high schools and increasing service to and from Canada’s Wonderland.

Specifically, it’s increasing service along routes; decreasing service along routes; increasing the frequency of service along a route; decreasing the frequency of service along a route; adjusting the schedules for buses along routes; and revising extra service to and from high schools.
Increasing service along routes
90 Leslie
Starting Monday, June 29, YRT resumes operating a southbound bus along the route Mondays to Fridays during summer.
The bus starts its trip on Leslie Street north of 16th Avenue at 4:22 p.m. It ends in Don Mills Station bus terminal at about 5:06 p.m.
By operating the extra bus, YRT intends to relieve overcrowding in the West Beaver Creek Business Park.
YRT is also decreasing service along the route.
360 Vaughan Mills / Wonderland
Starting Monday, June 29, YRT resumes Monday-to-Friday service along the route.
YRT is also adjusting the schedules for buses along the route.
Decreasing service along routes
91 Bayview
Friday, June 26 is the last day until September that YRT operates the northbound buses that usually started their trips on Bayview Avenue north of John Street at 3:06 and 3:08 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
The buses usually provided extra service for passengers travelling from Thornlea Secondary School.
Summer service ends and regular Monday-to-Friday service resumes Tuesday, September 8.
90 Leslie
Friday, June 26 is the last day until September that YRT operates the northbound bus that usually started its trip on Don Mills Road north of Steeles Avenue East at 2:36 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
The buses usually provided extra service for passengers travelling from St. Robert Catholic High School.
Summer service ends and regular Monday-to-Friday service resumes Tuesday, September 8.
YRT is also increasing service along the route.
Increasing the frequency of service along a route
9 Ninth Line
YRT is adjusting the frequency of service for buses along the route Saturdays.
Starting Saturday, June 27, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops:
- every 39 minutes, instead of every 47 minutes, before about noon;
- every 41 minutes, instead of every 47 minutes, from about noon until 7 p.m.; and
- every 42 minutes, instead of every 47 minutes, after about 7 p.m.
Decreasing the frequency of service along a route
8 Kennedy
YRT is adjusting the frequency of service for buses along the route Mondays to Fridays.
Starting Monday, June 29, buses drop off or pick up passengers at stops:
- every 29 minutes from about 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Adjusting the schedules for buses along routes
13 Islington
YRT is adjusting the schedules for buses along the route Mondays to Fridays.
Starting Monday, June 29, the last southbound bus leaves Islington Avenue north of Bell Court at 9:57 p.m., instead of 9:59 p.m.
320 Jane express
Starting Sunday, June 28, YRT is adjusting the schedules for buses along the route every day to align with the operating hours at Canada’s Wonderland and Vaughan Mills.
360 Vaughan Mills / Wonderland express
Starting Sunday, June 28, YRT is adjusting the schedules for buses along the route Saturdays, Sundays and holidays to align with the operating hours at Canada’s Wonderland and Vaughan Mills.
