The last of of six FIFA World Cup 2026™** matches in Toronto — Croatia versus Portugal — takes place at Toronto Stadium tonight, Thursday, July 2 at 7 p.m.
GO Transit and the TTC are revising services or adding extra service to get fans to and from the match and the Fan Festival.
The event affects these routes and lines:
- GO Transit — 1 Lakeshore West trains, 09 Lakeshore East trains, 12 Niagara Falls / Burlington, 71 Stouffville trains.
- Toronto Transit Commission — Line 1 Yonge - University, Line 2 Bloor - Danforth, 29 Dufferin, 63 Ossington, 307 Bathurst, 309 Harbourfront overnight, 311 Bathurst overnight, 504 King, 509 Harbourfront, 510 Spadina, 511 Bathurst, 809 Fleet Hub express, 829 Dufferin Gate express, 929 Dufferin express.
GO Transit
12 Niagara Falls / Burlington
From Thursday, June 11 until Friday, July 17, GO is operating more Monday-to-Friday GO buses to and from Niagara Falls to support more travel during FIFA World Cup 2026™ activities. It’s operating nine extra buses between Toronto and Niagara Falls.
09 Lakeshore East
From Wednesday, June 10 until Sunday, July 5, GO is introducing 15-minute service along the line Mondays to Fridays.
01 Lakeshore West
From Wednesday, June 10 until Sunday, July 5, GO is introducing 15-minute service along the line to get you to and from the match and other FIFA World Cup 2026™ activities.
It’s offering passengers more Monday-to-Friday trains between Oakville GO Station and Union Station, with some operating directly between Oakville and Exhibition GO stations before ending their trips in Union Station. GO’s also providing more late-night Monday-to-Friday trains to get you home safely.
GO is adding even more service Thursday, July 2.
The train that usually starts its trip at 1:07 p.m. in Niagara Falls GO Station leaves, instead, at 12:18 p.m. to arrive in Exhibition at 2:29 p.m. before ending its trip in Union.
Four westbound trains that normally operate express from Union Station, instead drop off or pick up passengers in all stations to provide more service from Exhibition.
Four more trains operate between Exhibition and Union “to provide more capacity and reduce wait times.”
71 Stouffville trains
From Wednesday, June 10 until Friday, July 3, GO operates an extra southbound train along the line. It starts its trip in Unionville GO Station at 4:36 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. It ends in Union Station at 5:15 p.m.

511 Bathurst
Starting Sunday, June 7, the TTC slightly revises the path so that streetcars in both directions skip their usual stops
- on Fleet Street beyond Fort York Boulevard.
Instead, streetcars drop off or pick up passengers at Fleet Hub, except for passengers with accessibility needs.
Stops west of Fleet Hub include:
- on Manitoba Drive west of Strachan Avenue and
- in Exhibition Loop.

Starting Sunday, June 7, the TTC is shortening the path so that buses only operate north of Bloor Street West during FIFA World Cup 2026™ activities. Instead, streetcars along the new, temporary 311 Bathurst route replace route 307 service south of Bloor West.

Thursday, July 2, the TTC is increasing service along the route. And, it’s revising the path for streetcars along the 504B (Broadview Stn - Dufferin Gate) branch of the route — but only before, during and after FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches.
By revising the path, the TTC can improve service along Dufferin Street south of King and through Dufferin Gate Loop for buses along the 29 Dufferin, 829 Dufferin Gate express and 929 Dufferin express routes match days.

From p.m. 2 until midnight, Thursday, July 2, the City of Toronto is closing parts of Strachan Avenue and streets in Liberty Village before, during and after FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches.
The TTC is revising the path for buses along the route.
Southbound buses operate along their usual path to Shaw Street and King Street West, then proceed:
westward along King West;
southward along Jefferson Avenue; and then
eastward along Liberty Street to Atlantic Avenue,
resuming their usual path northward along Atlantic.Southbound buses skip their usual stops
- on King Street West beyond Shaw Street,
- on Strachan Avenue at Canniff and East Liberty streets,
- on East Liberty Street beyond Pirandello Street and at Lynn Williams Street and
- on Liberty Street at Atlantic Avenue.
Northbound buses operate along their usual path.
