As part of its preventative maintenance program, the TTC continues to inspect the overhead streetcar infrastructure every month “to ensure reliable streetcar service.”
From 1 until 4 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, its crews are inspecting the wiring and other infrastructure in the Spadina Station streetcar terminal and tunnel.
It’s detouring streetcars along these routes, while the crews are working:

southward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward along College Street to Spadina Avenue,
resuming their regular path southward along Spadina.Southbound cars skip their regular stops
- in Spadina Station streetcar terminal,
- on Spadina Avenue beyond Sussex Avenue and Harbord Street and at Willcocks Street.
Instead, southbound cars likely drop off or pick up passengers at temporary stops
- in Bathurst Station terminal,
- on Bathurst Street at Bloor Street West and Lennox, Harbord, Ulster and College streets,
- on College Street across from Borden Street and Augusta and Spadina avenues.

southward along Spadina Road, Avenue, Crescent and Avenue;
eastward along Adelaide Street West; and then
southward along Charlotte Street to Oxley Street,
