Join TTC staff this Saturday, August 29 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at a neighbourhood opening celebration for Line 5 Eglinton. The indoor event at Cedarvale Station brings together local culture, businesses and community from all across the Eglinton Avenue corridor!

Whether you’re a daily commuter, a local resident, or a transit enthusiast, the event includes something for everyone to enjoy:

• Vendor Marketplace: Browse local businesses and artists from across Eglinton Avenue at station-branded booths representing each business’s “home station.”
• Line 5 Giveaways: Pick up exclusive Line 5 keepsakes, including kids’ activity books, stickers, pins, magnets, pens, collectible LRT vehicle cutouts, and commemorative maps.
• Live Local Entertainment: Enjoy live music from the Canadian Reggae Music Association, showcasing talented artists and entertainers from communities on the Line 5 route.
• TTC Pop-Up Shop and Info Booth: Stop by to chat with TTC team members, and shop for some amazing souvenirs from our supply of official TTC merchandise.
• Backpack and School Supplies Drive: TTC’s annual Backpack Drive is back to help students and families prepare for the new school year! Help local students get off to a strong start this school year. Bring a new backpack, school supplies, or both to support children and youth in need across our communities. As a special thank you, donors will receive an exclusive commemorative Line 5 coin (while supplies last).

TTC staff and volunteers will be on-site throughout the day to welcome passengers, answer questions, and help riders explore the service.
