This summer, the City of Toronto launched a pilot project adding to the ferries crossing Toronto Harbour. The East-West shuttle carries passengers from the Bathurst Slip near Billy Bishop Airport to Ookwemin Minising in the old Toronto Port Lands, with a stop at the Yonge Street strip. Along the way, passengers are treated to bracing breezes and spectacular views of the Toronto waterfront. Transit Toronto videographer Damian Baranowski made sure to sample this service, and put together our latest video on our YouTube Channel.

If all goes well, the service may return next year, offering more trips and possibly more stops. It could lead the way to an expanded ferry service along the waterfront, but only time will tell.
