Sunday, February 27, 1966 at 1:00 a.m.
Coincident with the opening of the BLOOR-DANFORTH subway, service on the 10 BLOOR-DANFORTH bus route begins, serving Bloor Street and Danforth Avenue during the night when the subway and the Bloor and Danforth streetcar shuttles don’t operate. Buses operate east from Jane Loop via Bloor Street and Danforth Avenue to Luttrell Loop and return. Buses operate out of Lansdowne and Danforth garages.
