A new seasonal service established, using accessible buses, operating between Downsview station and the new Parc Downsview Park. Buses on 101 PARC DOWNSVIEW PARK operate every twenty minutes during the midday on weekdays and during the daytime on weekends and holidays. Buses operate from Downsview station via west on Sheppard, south on John Drury and east on Carl Hall, looping counerclockwise in front of the Toronto Aerospace Museum.

The first bus leaves Downsview station at 9:00 a.m. (9:40 a.m.) while the last bus leaves Downsview at 3:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays).

This route operates out of Arrow Road Garage.

May 11, 2008

Service resumes on this date, operating from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays, with a bus every twenty minutes. Service now operated as a permanent rather than a seasonal route.

Bike rack service established.

The route name is changed to 101 DOWNSVIEW PARK to match the name change of the park that the route serves.

September 6, 2011

Regular weekday service eliminated due to budget cuts. Buses will operate Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until the following May when weekday service will be restored for the summer season, and every summer afterward.

May 9, 2016

Regular weekday service restored. Buses now operate every 20 minutes, 7 days a week, whenever the subway is open. This restoration is part of the route’s seasonal service increase, but this time the change is permanent, and weekday service will not be cut in the autumn.

December 21, 2016

Due to construction on properties along Carl Hall Road within Downsview Park, bus stops are relocated and the route diverted. Buses now travel westbound from Downsview Station via west on Sheppard Avenue West, east and south on John Drury Drive, east on Carl Hall Road, and south and east to The Hangar at 75 Carl Hall Road before returning via north and east on Carl Hall Road, north on Chesswood Drive, and east on Sheppard Avenue West to Downsview Station. This route change was made at the divisional level on December 21, 2016, and officially registered by the TTC for the March 26, 2017 board period. It is expected to continue until at least the fall of 2018. No changes in service levels or destination signs.

May 7, 2017

Ahead of the extension of the SPADINA SUBWAY to York University and into Vaughan, Downsview station is officially renamed Sheppard West. Destination signs have been adjusted in the days leading up to this change, although this short route rarely shows more than its route name on its signs.

September 6, 2020

Service is rerouted to operate continuously on Carl Hall Road to provide more direct service to Centennial College’s Downsview campus, buses operate from Sheppard West station via west on Sheppard, east and south on John Drury Drive, and east on Carl Hall Road towards Centennial College, serving the college via an internal roadway. From there, buses continue east and north on Carl Hall Road, north on Chesswood Drive and east on Sheppard to Sheppard West station.

With the opening of McNicoll Garage, service transferred from Arrow Road Garage to Wilson Garage.

March 26, 2023

Routing revised. 101 DOWNSVIEW PARK buses terminate at Downsview Park Station instead of Sheppard West Station and the route runs westbound to the new Stanley Greene neighborhood. Service operates every 30 minutes, seven days a week, between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturdays and Sundays.

From Downsview Park Station, westbound buses operate south on Carl Hall Road, north on John Drury Drive, west on Sheppard Avenue West, south on Keele Street, east on Downsview Park Boulevard, south on Frederick Tisdale Drive, west on Locust Lodge Gardens and north on Stanley Greene Boulevard before continuing west on Downsview Park Boulevard as eastbound buses reverse route. Stops on Sheppard Avenue West between John Drury Drive and Sheppard West Station will no longer be served.

During peak periods, buses operate every 15 minutes with route 128 STANLEY GREENE in the Stanley Greene neighborhood.
