Starting day for new route replacing the eastern section of the old 61 NORTOWN route. Routing operates from Eglinton station running east on Eglinton Avenue, north on Mount Pleasant Road before looping towards Doncliffe Loop. Service operates out of Eglinton Garage near the station.

Last day of service under this name. Changed to 103 MT. PLEASANT NORTH. No changes to routing or service levels.

February 18, 1996

Due to reduced government subsidies, services are reduced system wide including the elimination of late evening service (after 10 p.m.) Monday through Saturday and Sunday evening service (after 7 p.m.).

February 14, 1999

Routes 103 MOUNT PLEASANT NORTH and 74 MOUNT PLEASANT were to be combined on this date, into a single route running from Davisville station via Yonge, Merton, and Mt. Pleasant to Doncliffe Loop. This was not implemented due to the concerns of local residents.

March 31, 2002

Route switched operate to the new Eglinton Garage on Comstock Road.

May 8, 2005

Accessible service is introduced utilizing low floor Orion VII buses on all runs, every day of the week.

November 23, 2008

As part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy, full service restored on this route, seven days a week, 18 hours a day. Also on this day, service is transferred to Wilson Garage coinciding with the opening of Mount Dennis Garage.

May 8, 2011

As part of a series of system-wide service reductions caused by municipal budget cuts, service after 10 p.m. on Sundays and holidays is eliminated.

Sunday and holiday late evening service restored. Buses operate at intervals of 30 minutes or better whenever the subway is open.

September 3, 2016

Last day of service before a temporary shut-down as a result of EGLINTON-CROSSTOWN LRT construction. Service the following day is provided by a temporary extension of the 74 MOUNT PLEASANT bus.

March 28, 2021

With the route still on hiatus, service on this route is transferred from Wilson Garage to Eglinton (Comstock) Garage in conjunction with the opening of McNicoll Garage.
