The opening of the Spadina Subway allows the TTC to create this route, breaking up the lengthy 41 KEELE service and giving York Region passengers a shorter trip to the subway.

Buses run from Wilson station (Lower Level) north on Wilson Heights, west on Sheppard, north on Tuscan, west north and east on St.Regis Cres., north on Ceramic, west on LePage and north on Keele to the existing off-street loop at the CNR North Road, just south of Rutherford.

Service operates out of Wilson Garage.

Route is split during rush hour to provide a new service on Chesswood Avenue. Buses run over the regular route from Wilson station to Sheppard and Chesswood, then north on Chesswood, west on Finch and north on Keele to the CNR North Road. Also on this date, the routing through the St.Regis industrial area is revised, from Sheppard and Tuscan, buses run north on Tuscan, then east on St.Regis South, north on Bakersfield, west on St.Regis North and north on Ceramic, continuing over the existing route to the CNR North Road.

South of Sheppard, all buses operate via Allen Road and Transit Road, to and from Wilson station.

May 24, 1983

The rush hour Chesswood service is rerouted at its north end, east of Keele to serve the Langstaff Industrial Area. These buses run east on Langstaff, and loop south and east on Connie, south on Rivermede, west south and east on Bradwick, and north on Rivermede to Langstaff. All buses to the CNR North Road continue to run via the St.Regis industrial area.

All buses now serve the newly opened North Terminal at Wilson station instead of the lower level of the original south terminal.

Chesswood buses are rerouted north from Sheppard via east and north and west on Kodiak Crescent, north on Whitehorse, west on Steeprock and north on Chesswood to Finch, and then over the regular route to Langstaff. Buses return south over the reverse routing.

February 18, 1985

The Langstaff looping for the 107B service is now via east on Langstaff, then south and west on Rivermede, to Keele.

October 19, 1987

Monday through Saturday service extended north of CNR North Road via Keele to an off-street loop on the west side of Keele, just north of Major Mackenzie at the arena. After 10 p.m., Monday to Saturday and all day Sunday, buses continue to run just to the CNR North Road.

Coincident with the extension of the Spadina Subway to Downsview Station at Allen Road and Sheppard Avenue, all buses are rerouted off of Allen Road to terminate at the new station. Early morning trips (before 6 a.m. Monday to Saturday and before 9 a.m. on Sunday) are extended to Wilson and Transit Road via Allen Road and Transit, but this is not given a separate branch designation.

June 16, 1996

Late evening service discontinued on Saturdays and Sundays. The last Saturday northbound trips to Major Mackenzie depart Downsview station at 8 p.m., With a 9:02 p.m. and a 10:02 p.m. departure to Rutherford. The last southbound departure from Major Mackenzie is 8:45 p.m. with departures from Rutherford at 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. The last departure on Sunday is 8:02 p.m. from Downsview station and 8:30 from Rutherford.

September 1, 1996

Monday through Friday service revised to provide additional service to York University. Southbound 107B and 107C buses loop through the University Common Area between 6 a.m. and noon. Northbound buses serve the Common Area between noon and 7 p.m. Fare collection procedures are revised during this period so that passenger travelling between the University and points north of Steeles are only required to pay a Vaughan Transit fare. Service through the University is not operated from mid-May until Labour Day each year.

107D and 107F operate in one direction Monday to Friday and 107B and 107C do not operate at these times, see details in text.

Sunday service is extended from Rutherford to Major Mackenzie. The 107 Rutherford branch now operates just a few Monday to Friday evening trips, while the 107C Major Mackenzie branch operates seven days a week, except late evenings.

June 22, 2001

Monday through Friday service operated via York University ends on this date, later than usual for the school year due to a labour dispute which caused the school term to run later.

March 31, 2002

With the closings of Danforth and Eglinton Garages and the opening of its replacement facility on Comstock Road, service on this route is transferred from Wilson Garage to Arrow Road Garage.

May 12, 2002

107C service to Major Mackenzie is extended north to Teston Road, looping via Drummond Drive, Cranston Park Avenue and Teston Road. Late evening trips that used to run to Rutherford (107) are also extended to Teston Road. Service no longer operates on Rutherford, Jacob Keffler Parkway and Gantner Gate. 107C service operates until approximately 11 p.m. every day.

The routing through the Langstaff Industrial Area (107B) is revised and midday service added, Monday through Friday. Buses now run from Downsview Station via the Chesswood routing to Keele and Rivermede Road, then east on Rivermede, north on North Rivermede, west on Langstaff, north on Planchet, north on Basaltic, north on Westburn and east on Rutherford to the Rutherford GO station. Buses return south via the reverse route.

Service to York University ends for the season on this date. When this service resumes in the fall the branch designations 107D and 107F will not be used. Instead 107B and 107C trips through the university will be marked “Via York University”.

At the request of York Region Transit buses resume service to the York University Common Area in the same pattern as during the school year. This pattern of operation will now continue on a year round basis, i.e. no summer changes. Southbound buses divert off Keele to the York University Common Area Monday through Friday from 7 AM to Noon. And northbound buses divert off Keele to the Common Area from Noon to 7 PM.

Alternate rush hour buses are extended north of Teston Road to Kirby Road. Kirby buses loop via east on Vista Gate, northeast and north on Ravineview and west on Kirby to Keele.
