Coincident with the extension of the Bloor-Danforth subway to Kipling station, route 111 EAST MALL is introduced to replace parts of 87 MALL CIRCLE, 3 KINGSWAY and 32E EGLINTON WEST. Buses run from Kipling Station via north on Aukland, west on Dundas, north on The East Mall, and east on Eglinton, and looping north on Martin Grove, west on Longbourne and south on Willowridge.

The north end looping is revised to better serve the apartments on Richgrove and now operates north on Martin Grove, west on Longbourne, south on Willowridge, east on Richgrove south on Martin Grove, west on Eglinton and south on East Mall.
