Service commences on a new BERRY ROAD bus, taking over from a branch of the KINGSWAY bus. Buses operate from Humber Loop via west on Queensway, north on Park Lawn, west on Berry Road and north on Prince Edward, looping via west on Meadowvale, north on Grenview and east on Bloor Street to route. Service operated out of Parkdale Garage.

October 15, 1955
Sewer construction closes Park Lawn, forcing buses to operate out of Humber Loop via Queensway, Stephen Drive, Berry Road and Prince Edward to Bloor.
November 2, 1955
Diversion made permanent. Service no longer provided on Park Lawn.
November 26, 1956
Service note: two buses operate during the AM rush, providing 15 minute headways. A single bus operates midday on a 30 minute headway and three buses operate during the PM rush, providing a 10 minute headway for a 6.5 mile round trip.
December 1956
Construction work on the Queen Street West extension forces 13 BERRY ROAD and 55 MIMICO to divert away from Humber loop. Both routes now loop via the Queen Street West extension at Windermere Loop near Windermere Avenue.

Route designated number 13.

April 1, 1957
New multiple route transfers now in use. 13 BERRY RD becomes a sub-route of 41 KEELE.
April 15, 1957
Windermere Loop ceases to be used as a terminal. A new temporary loop established on the north-east corner of Lakeshore Rd and Ellis Avenue (Ellis Loop). Buses head to the loop via the Queen Street Extension and Ellis Avenue, running through the loop clockwise and then returning down Ellis Avenue to Queen Street. The Windermere Loop property is used for expressway construction and the Ellis Loop is used until the new Humber Loop and new Windermere Loop are constructed - at the time scheduled for completion that summer.

Ellis Loop abandoned, 13 BERRY ROAD buses now operate into the new Humber Loop.
June 29, 1958
Sunday service replaced by an extension of the 2 ANGLESEY bus. Buses run from the Kipling/Princes Margaret area to Humber loop.
August 25, 1963
Last day of ANGLESEY Sunday service on Berry Road. Starting Sunday, September 1st, 13 BERRY ROAD buses resume Sunday service over their regular route.
January 23, 1966
Operation transferred to the new Queensway Garage.
May 11, 1968
In conjunction with the opening of the BLOOR-DANFORTH subway extension to Islington, all 13 BERRY ROAD buses operate over their regular route from Humber to Bloor and then east on Bloor to Old Mill station. Buses no longer serve stops on Meadowvale and Grenview.

April 29, 1969
Service note: two buses providing 20 minute base service. Three buses provide a 12 minute headway during rush hours and one bus operates 30 minute service on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
May 25, 1969
At the request of Etobicoke Council, through service is established along Prince Edward across Bloor Street. Outside of rush hours, the route is combined with 66 PRINCE EDWARD, operating from Dundas and Prince Edward to Humber Loop, diverting in both directions to Old Mill Station. The new route is known as PRINCE EDWARD-BERRY ROAD. 13 BERRY ROAD buses operate during rush hours only.

The Commission confirms the permanent operation of the combined PRINCE EDWARD-BERRY ROAD service during regular hours of operation.
April 25, 1970
Last day of operation. Route merged with 66 PRINCE EDWARD service at all times and known as 66 PRINCE EDWARD.
