Coincident with the opening of the SCARBOROUGH RT, service begins on a new route serving Milner Avenue in northeast Scarborough, replacing the 21B branch of 21 BRIMLEY. Buses on 132 MILNER operate from Scarborough Centre station on the RT via north on McCowan and east on Milner to loop clockwise via Murison, Breckon, Sheppard East and Morningside. Buses operate during rush hours only, Mondays through Fridays.

November 23, 1986

Service revised to better serve the Malvern neighbourhood. Following the normal route to Brenyon Way and Sheppard, buses continue north on Brenyon Way to Sewells, looping counterclockwise via Sewells, McLevin, Neilson and Sewells to Brenyon Way. Service on Sheppard and Morningside and on Milner Avenue east of Murison is discontinued.

Weekday midday and early evening service introduced, with the last buses departing around 10 p.m.

January 6, 1992

Service extended to make a larger loop through the Venture Drive/Casebridge Court industrial area.

During morning rush hours, buses operating on the 132A branch leave Scarborough Centre and follow the normal route to Milner and Murison, but continue along Milner to Morningside, making a large loop via north on Morningside, east on Sheppard, north on Venture Drive, west on Casebridge, north on Morningside and west on Sewells, west on McLevin, south on Neilson, east on Sewells south on Brenyon Way and east on Murison to Milner. During afternoon rush hours, buses on the 132B branch reverse this routing. No change to the main branch service, which operates during the midday and during the early evening.

It is not known what rollsigns were used on these branches, which barely lasted two months before…

March 29, 1992

Service to Venture Drive revised to provide two-way rush hour service on Brenyon Way. During rush hours, buses operating from Scarborough Centre follow the regular routing to Milner and Murison, and then run via north and west on Murison, north on Brenyon Way, west on Sewells, north on Neilson, east on McLevin, east on Sewells, wouth on Morningside, east on Casebridge and south on Venture Drive, looping via south and east on Venture Drive and east, north and west on Thornmount Drive to Venture, returning via the reverse route.

Accessible service is provided using lift-equipped Orion V buses on all trips. Bike rack service also installed.

November 23, 2008

As part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy, service increased to operate seven days a week, whenever the subway is operating. This adds late-evening weekday service and Saturday, Sunday and holiday service. During weekday midday and late evening, and during weekends, service interlines with 130 MIDDLEFIELD.

May 8, 2011

As part of a series of cuts system-wide, service after 10:00 p.m., Sundays and holidays, is removed.

September 6, 2015

Late evening Sunday and holiday service is restored. Buses now operate at intervals of 30 minutes or better, whenever the subway is open.
