Due to the closure of Beth Nealson Drive to accommodate the construction of the Ontario Line, service begins on the temporary 156 MILLWOOD bus route operating between Thorncliffe Park shopping district and the Wicksteed industrial area via Laird Station overlapping the 88 SOUTH LEASIDE buses servicing out of the New Eglinton bus division and garage on Comstock Road.

Buses on this route run both ways via Thorncliffe Park Drive, Overlea Boulevard, Millwood Road, McCrae Drive, Laird Drive, Eglinton Avenue East, Brentcliffe Road, Wicksteed Avenue, Leslie Street, and Vanderhoof Avenue. Service operates every 25 to 30 minutes approximately between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, 5:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sundays.
