Coinciding with the opening of the new LINE 5 EGLINTON LRT, service begins on the new 158 TRETHEWEY, resurrecting the route name that has not been used since 1972, replacing the portions of the 32C EGLINTON WEST route operating between Keelesdale Station and Weston Road and Oak Street.

From Keelesdale Station, westbound trips operate via north and west on Trethewey Drive, north on Jane Street, west on Lawrence Avenue West, northwest and north on Weston Road, and east and south on Knob Hill Drive to Oak Street. For eastbound trips, buses operate from Knob Hill Drive at Oak Street via west on Oak Street, south on Weston Road, east on Lawrence Avenue West, south on Jane Street, east and south on Trethewey Drive, east on Yore Road, and south into Keelesdale Station bus terminal.

Service run all day, 7 days a week, 18 hours a day whenever the subway is open. The route operates out of Mount Dennis Garage on Industry Street utilizing 40-foot, 12-meter New Flyer X-DE-40 and Orion VII Next Generation diesel electric hybrid alongside with the Nova Bus LFSe+ 40102 battery electric low floor buses.
