In preparation for the launch of LINE 5 EGLINTON LRT, service is established on the 191 UNDERHILL route that will replace 91 WOODBINE service north of Lawrence Avenue East as well as the 144 DOWNTOWN/DON VALLEY EXPRESS, which was formally suspended in 2020, but not discontinued until 2024. While this route will use the bus terminal at Don Valley Station for turnbacks and layovers, it will not serve this station until the LRT opens. Buses go into and out of service at temporary stops set up on Wynford Drive at Don Mills Road (Stop ID #16748) northbound and at Gervais Drive at Eglinton Avenue East (Stop ID #3637). Also, service on 91 WOODBINE remains unaffected until the LRT opens, so the services operate concurrently north of Lawrence Avenue East.

Buses operate northbound from Don Valley Station via north on Gervais Drive, west on Wynford Drive, north on Don Mills Road, east on Lawrence Avenue East, north on Underhill Drive, west on Brookbanks Drive to loop via west on Three Valleys Drive, north on Laurentide Drive, north on Silverdale Crescent and east on York Mills Road to Valley Woods Road before heading south on Valley Woods to Brookbanks Drive to return via the reverse route. After 12:00 noon, buses reverse this loop operating from Brookbanks Drive via north on Valley Woods, west on York Mills, south on Silverdale, south on Laurentide, east on Three Valleys, and east on Brookbanks.

The service operates at intervals of 20-25 minutes, seven days a week, whenever the subway (or LRT) is open. This service operates out of Eglinton Garage using BYD K9M electric and Nova LFS diesel/electric low floor buses.

With the opening of LINE 5 EGLINTON LRT, this route now serves the Don Valley Station’s bus terminal, formally replacing the north end of 91 WOODBINE.

	Jelo Gutierrez Cantos photographed a new TTC NovaBUS LFSe+ #6620 at Wynford Drive and Don Mills Road on October 21, 2025 on the new 191 UNDERHILL route outside of the new Don Valley (formerly named Science Centre) Station, as the bus terminal is not yet opened to the public. This vehicle is one of the 136 units TTC ordered along with 204 New Flyer Xcelsior X-E40 Charge buses and as of this writing, approximately over 40 LFSe+ models are in revenue service.
