The Special Events route formerly known as 93 EXHIBITION WEST EXPRESS is now renumbered and renamed 193 EXHIBITION ROCKET. This is one of a series of “Rocket” routes that operate at a regular fare with few or no intermediate stops between major points.
Buses operate as before, from Dundas West station on the BLOOR-DANFORTH SUBWAY via south and east on Dundas, south on Dufferin, east on Peel, south on Gladstone, west on Queen and south on Dufferin to Exhibition West loop at Springhurst Avenue. Buses then return via the reverse route. There are no intermediate stops.
This route only operates when the Canadian National Exhibition is in session, during the end of August and up to Labour Day. The first actual day of operation was be opening day of the 2003 CNE on August 15, 2003.
August 18, 2006
All runs now operate using low-floor accessible buses.
November 18, 2010
The “Dufferin Jog” is eliminated with the opening of a new Dufferin Street tunnel beneath the railway tracks north of the Queen/Dufferin intersection. When service resumes for the 2011 CNE, buses will operate through the new underpass, rather than running both ways via Peel, Gladstone and Queen.

Likely the last day of service. Although the route was included in the 2018 re-branding of the TTC’s express bus services, changing to 993 EXHIBITION EXPRESS, the service was not operated for the 2018 Exhibition season, largely because Dufferin station had been rendered wheelchair accessible, and special 29 DUFFERIN express routes were used instead. The 993 EXHIBITION EXPRESS route was subsequently removed from the express rebranding material.
