As part of a significant revamp of night services across Metropolitan Toronto, a new overnight service is introduced operating on Finch Avenue between Yonge and Martin Grove, following the same route as 36 FINCH WEST. Buses operate out of Finch Station (but don’t carry passengers into the station when the subway is closed), west on Finch Avenue, south on Islington and west on Albion Road to Martin Grove, looping via north on Silverstone, east on Lexington and south on Martin Grove.

Buses continue to follow this route for six years following the opening of Finch Avenue between Islington and Albion Road, and the revision of 36 FINCH WEST services to follow it, likely because Albion Road offered more potential passenger to serve than the newly established through road.
