As part of a system-wide expansion of night bus operations, service begins on the new 315 EVANS-BROWN’S LINE night bus route, operating every 30 minutes when the subway is closed. Buses operate from Royal York station via south on Royal York, west on Evans, northwest at the West Mall, east on South Gate, east on Sherway Gardens Road, south on Sherway Gate, east on Evans Avenue, south on Brown’s Line and west on Lake Shore Boulevard to Long Branch loop. Buses return via east on Lake Shore Boulevard, north on Brown’s Line, west on Evans Avenue, north on the West Mall, east on South Gate, south and east on Sherway Gardens Ring Road, south on Sherway Gate, east on Evans Avenue, and north on Royal York Road to Bloor Street. Buses operate out of Queensway Garage.

With Royal York station’s bus terminal closed for 18 months due to renovations, service on the 315 EVANS-BROWN LINE is routed to Islington station for the duration. Buses operate over the regular route north on Royal York Road and then turn west on Bloor Street to Islington Avenue. The last stop is westbound on Bloor is on the far side of Islington before buses turn around in Islington Station. Buses then make a stop on Bloor on the near side of Islington and then proceed east on Bloor Street and south on Royal York Road to their regular route.

With the completion of the bus roadway at Royal York station, service is no longer diverted to Islington station, and all buses operate into Royal York station.

Due to remedial construction work required at Royal York Station from its Easier Access project in 2019, the bus terminal has to be closed to buses for four weeks. As a result, service on this night route is extended west on Bloor Street from Royal York to Islington Station. Schedules are the same as they were for the August 2018 board period.

Remedial construction at Royal York Station is set to end. On this day, service is no longer extended to Islington Station but is restored to the Royal York Station bus terminal, with schedules the same as they were in June 2021.
