As part of an expansion and re-branding of the TTC’s night services, overnight trips on the 63 OSSINGTON route are redesignated as 316 OSSINGTON BLUE NIGHT. Trolley bus trips start from Eglinton West station and travel west on Eglinton, south on Oakwood, east on Davenport, south on Ossington, east on Queen and south on Shaw, looping via east on Adelaide, south on Crawford and west on King to Shaw.
Buses usually bypass Ossington station, but northbound runs which serve the station loop west through Ossington station, north on Concord and east on Northumberland to Ossington. Southbound buses reverse this arrangement.

To save resources, the overnight 316 OSSINGTON night bus service is interlined with the 329 DUFFERIN route. Southbound trips arriving at King continue south on Shaw, east on Caniff, south on Strachan and west on Manitoba to the Exhibition streetcar loop. There, the bus assumes service on the 329 DUFFERIN route and heads through the Dufferin Gates. When the CNE grounds are closed for major events, buses are diverted via King, Fraser and Liberty to Dufferin.
June 23, 2002
The south end looping at King is now simplified. Buses now turn via south on Shaw, east on King, south on Strachan, west on Canniff and north on Shaw.
November 7, 2003-November 17, 2003
Due to the closure of Manitoba Drive between Nova Scotia Avenue and Canada Boulevard, during the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, buses are diverted via Manitoba Drive, Nova Scotia Avenue, Princes Boulevard and Canada Boulevard, in both directions.

Route altered slightly in order to maintain interlined operation with 329 DUFFERIN NIGHT, as the Dufferin Street bridge over the Gardiner Expressway was closed. As Dufferin buses could only access the Exhibition grounds from the east, the service is altered so that southbound buses operate south on Strachan, west on Manitoba and through the Exhibition loop access road, ending service inside Exhibition loop (and becoming a Dufferin bus). Northbound buses start service inside Exhibition loop. The stop on Manitoba Drive outside of Exhibition loop is temporarily discontinued, replaced by service inside Exhibition loop.
April 17, 2014
Coincident with the opening of the temporary Dufferin Street bridge over the Gardiner Expressway and the Lakeshore railway tracks, and in anticipation of congestion related to watermain construction on Dufferin between College and Queen, interlined service with 329 DUFFERIN NIGHT is temporarily suspended. Southbound buses now operate via south on Canada Drive, west on Princes’ Boulevard, north and west on Nunavut Road, north along Nova Scotia Avenue and then eastward along Manitoba to pick up across from Exhibition Loop. Buses continue east along Manitoba to Strachan Avenue and then resume their regular route north along Strachan.
September 5, 2015
Last day of operation. Service replaced by the renumbered 363 OSSINGTON NIGHT route.
