As part of a system-wide expansion and rebranding of night bus service across Metropolitan Toronto, service begins on a new overnight service on York Mills Road and Ellesmere Avenue. Buses run from York Mills station via east on York Mills, southeast on Parkwood Village Drive, east on Ellesmere, north on Neilson and west on Finch, looping north on Tapscott, east on Newgale, then south east and south on Finchdene Square, and returning west over the reverse routing. Sunday morning service runs until about 9 am. The route is operated from Malvern Garage.

The east end loop is revised to serve the north end of Finchdene Square. It now operates north on Tapscott, east on Newgale then north, east and south on Finchdene Square.

Operation of this route is transferred from Malvern Garage to Birchmount Garage.

Buses now loop through the Centenary Health Centre on Neilson south of Ellesmere in both directions.
February 18, 1996
Operation of this route is transferred from Birchmount Garage to Malvern Garage.

This route is now Accessible using Orion VII Low Floor buses. These buses are also equipped with Bike Racks.
