As part of a general increase in night bus service, a new service is established along Sheppard Avenue East, from Yonge Street to Meadowvale Avenue. Buses loop through the Sheppard-Yonge station bus terminal (without dropping off passengers) on the west end, and through Meadowvale loop on the northeast corner of Sheppard and Meadowvale on the east end.
Service provided by lift-equipped Orion V buses on all runs, every day of the week. (These were later replaced by low-floor buses)

Early morning Sunday service, previously provided by 85 SHEPPARD EAST is now provided by this route, ensuring continuous service between Sheppard-Yonge station and Meadowvale Loop.

Service is extended from Meadowvale Road to Rouge Hill GO Station via Sheppard Avenue East, Port Union Road, Island Road, East Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East, expanding service accessibility in the West Rouge area and providing connections with the 354 LAWRENCE EAST NIGHT and early morning trains on the Lakeshore East GO line. Service is also provided early morning on Sundays, from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
