During the Pan-am Games, service begins on this temporary accessible bus route. 406 VENUE SHUTTLE DOWNTOWN operates between St George Station, Queens Park Station, and the Ryerson Athletic Centre (RYA) (Mattamy Centre) at the former Maple Leaf Gardens, serving the Pan Am/Parapan Am Fields (PAF) venue. Buses operate from St. George station (using the 26 DUPONT bay) via south on Bedford, west on Bloor, south on St George St, east on College, north on Yonge, east on Wood and south on Church to Carlton. Buses return via west on Carlton, west on College, north on St George, east on Bloor, north on Bedford, and west on Prince Arthur to St George Station. Buses serve stops at St. George station, the St. George/Willcocks intersection, Queen’s Park station and Church Street (southbound between Wood and Carlton, in front of the Mattamy Centre. Buses do not stop at College station, as it is not wheelchair accessible.
Unlike the Community buses used, this route operates with two conventional low-floor Orion VII buses every 15 minutes dispatched from Mount Dennis Garage.
