The TTC launches a new service on Steeles Avenue, across the north of the city, from Jane Street east to Bayview Avenue. At the west end, buses loop via south on Jane, west on Hullmar and north on Peter Kaiser. In the east, buses loop via south on Laureleaf and then east and north on Bestview. Service operates Monday to Friday, during rush hours and midday.

Service is not immediately a hit. A Headlights report at the time expressed disappointment with the lack of ridership, but service is retained.
