Service established on a new route operating through the “York Mills North” residential area. Previously, this area had been served by the experimental GO DIAL-A-BUS route, although transit service had been unavailable for five years.
Reflecting the residential nature of the route, service initially provided by new 30-foot-long Orion I buses. Buses operate from York Mills station via east on York Mills, north on Upper Highland, west on Tournament, north on The Links, west on Lord Seaton, north and east on Upper Canada, south on Monressor, east on Toba and north on Fifeshire, looping counterclockwise via Carluke Crescent and returning over the reverse route. As Carluke was a very short walk from Bayview, the route signs displayed “BAYVIEW” as the final destination. Service operated out of Eglinton Garage.
