Service begins on the 925 DON MILLS EXPRESS, renumbering and renaming the old 185 DON MILLS ROCKET. Buses operate seven day a week on a limited stop service paralleling the 25 DON MILLS bus route. Buses operate from Pape Station on the BLOOR-DANFORTH subway line via west on Lipton, north on Pape, north on Leaside Bridge, north on Millwood, east on Overlea, north on Don Mills, through Don Mills station, and north on Don Mills again to Steeles, looping via east on Steeles, south on Townsend and west on Freshmeadow Drive to Don Mills before heading back to Pape Station over the reverse route.

Northbound buses stop only at Cosburn Avenue, both legs of Thorncliffe Park Drive, Don Mills Road/Gateway Boulevard (south leg, north side), St. Dennis Drive (Ontario Science Centre), Eglinton Avenue East, Green Belt Drive, Lawrence Avenue East, York Mills Road, Graydon Hall Drive, Parkway Forest Drive, Don Mills station, Van Horne Avenue, Finch Avenue East, Godstone Road (temporary), McNicoll Avenue, Steeles Avenue East, and Freshmeadow Drive/Don Mills Road. Southbound buses stop only at McNicoll Avenue, 2980 Don Mills Road (temporary), Finch Avenue East, Van Horne Avenue, Don Mills Station, Havenbrook Boulevard, Duncan Mill Road, York Mills Road, Lawrence Avenue East, Barber Greene Road, Eglinton Avenue East, St. Dennis Drive (Ontario Science Centre), Overlea Boulevard/Don Mills Road (west side), both legs of Thorncliffe Park Drive, Cosburn Avenue, and Pape Station.

Service is blended with the 25 DON MILLS and operates seven days a week except after 10 p.m. on weekdays and after 7 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

To better serve Wheel Trans customers transferring to this route, the southbound nearside stop at Don Mills and York Mills is discontinued, replaced by service to the farside stop at this intersection.

Due to the disruptions around the COVID-19 virus, all service on this route is reallocated to parallel local bus services until further notice.

Weekday service is restored on this route, operating on its February 2020 schedules. Weekend service will be restored at a later date in 2021.

A new pair of express stops will be temporarily added on the 925 DON MILLS EXPRESS at Overlea Boulevard and East York Town Centre/46 Overlea Boulevard to provide additional access for customers to the COVID-19 vaccination centre at East York Town Centre.

Weekend and holiday service is temporarily suspended as a result of COVID-related ridership declines and staff shortages. This service is restored on Sunday, February 13, 2022.

An additional express stop that had been added at the East York Town Centre in 2021 to serve a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic is removed on this date.

Due to the closure of the Pape Station bus terminal as a result of Ontario Line construction, buses on this route are diverted to Broadview Avenue via O’Connor Drive and Broadview, serving Broadview Station from bus platform #3, and pushing out other services like 8 BROADVIEW and 62 MORTIMER
