Service begins on a new route that renumbers and re-names the 188 KIPLING SOUTH ROCKET, bringing the service in line with the TTC’s new 900 series express bus route branding. There is no change in service. Buses continue to operate from Kipling station via east and north on St. Albans Road, then south on Kipling Avenue and Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive to Colonel Samuel Smith Park loop, returning via the reverse route. Southbound buses stop at the Queensway (far side), Evans, Birmingham, Lake Shore Boulevard, at the Humber College Building M and Colonel Samuel Smith Park loop, Northbound buses stop at Humber College Building M, Lake Shore Boulevard, Birmingham, Evans, the Queensway (far side) and Kipling station.

As in other TTC express routes, all express service on this route is suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak affecting the TTC. Local service is provided by the 44 KIPLING SOUTH buses.

Weekday daytime service is restored on this route, with schedules the same as the February 2020 board period.
