As part of the 2021 Annual Service Plan, a new express route 968 WARDEN EXPRESS is launched to augment existing service on route 68 WARDEN.
Express buses operate from Warden station to Steeles Loop via Warden Avenue stopping at Warden station, Deans Dr. (northbound)/Fairfax Cres. (southbound), Comstock, Eglinton, Ashtonbee, Lawrence, Ellesmere, Sheppard, Finch, McNicoll, Steeles and the Steeles/Warden Loop.
Service operates out of McNicoll Garage during rush hours only using Nova LFS low-floor buses.

Amidst the employee shortages due to the TTC’s COVID-19 vaccination policy, express service on this route has been temporarily suspended. Service is provided by the local 68A WARDEN buses operating in the same corridor using the same service levels from September 2021.
